Event: Record Store Day, April 19th

When is the last time you visited a record store and no I don’t mean Best Buy or the iTunes music store. A real record store with employees that know and love music. Record stores that still sell vinyl records (for those born in the 90’s, they are big round plastic things with music on them). If not, get thee to one this Saturday.

On Saturday, April 19, 2008, hundreds of independently owned music stores across the country will celebrate “Record Store Day.”

If you in Milwaukee this Saturday, head over to The Exlcusive Company on the east side to celebrate Record Store Day. It will feature 15 Milwaukee Bands and runs from 11am to 10am. There will be food,
beer, contests, and more. RadioMilwaukee is helping to present it so we will be down there. Stop by!

Also check out and Atomic Records and Bullseye Records in Milwaukee. Check the Record Store Day website to see if your favorite store is participating.
