Concert Preview | Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Black Rebel Motorcycle Clubs’ latest single, “Beat the Devil’s Tatoo” off the new album of the same name overwhelmingly won in a recent New Music Wednesday poll. Now you have a chance to see them in concert. On Friday March 26th, BRMC will play at Turner Hall in their first Milwaukee appearance since Harley Fest in 2008. The new album seems to strike a more even balance between their appreciation for Americana and their love of fuzzed out rock and roll.  The eponymous opening track wouldn’t be out of place on Howl and the album quickly takes a harder turn with “Conscience Killer.” Likewise, the slow-chugging psych drenched track “War Machine” somehow fits alongside a folksy ballad like “Sweet Feeling.”

Get there early to see London-based Band of Skulls open the set with some similarly gritty rock riffs and psychedelic stompers. They appear alongside BRMC on the new Twilight soundtrack.
