Sound Travels Sunday to Monday

Marcus here with your weekend recap and start to the week with the details on all that you may have missed even if you caught it. The Sunday Nomadik set was a fun prelude to another happenin’ set at the Nomad on Brady. Ya’ll know that right? Sound Travels hits the street every Sunday night right after the show. Last Sunday saw me playing on the last day of the Nomad’s 25th anniversary festivities, right after Fever Marlene. They killed it in a short but loud as hell set of new and older material, and afterwards I did my best to follow up on it. If you haven’t made it to the Sunday edition and don’t have to be for work early in the AM, I’d check it out(if I wasn’t already there or simply traveling astral, I would) too. Here is what I aired for you…

Monday’s ST was a funky homage to the unfortunate events unfolding in Poland where their President as well as most of the top  government officials perished in a plane crash last Friday. Not that Sound Travels relates to this fact, just that I thought I’d play something connected to the country. If you missed it, here it is again; all funk and soul jazz tastiness…
