Are You Feeling This: Kenan Bell, Deer Tick and Discovery

Lots of songs never make it to the radio that are getting lots of attention online.  Live tracks, sanctioned and unsanctioned remixes, mash-ups, overlooked gems by unsigned artists.  Every week on “Are You Feeling This,” we invite you to hear what the buzz is all about.  You tell us what you think.  Vote in the Are You Feeling This poll, leave a comment, send us an e-mail.

The Last winner of Are You Feeling This was El Michel’s Affair’s cover of Wu-Tang’s classic “C.R.E.A.M.”

This week on ”Are You Feeling This” we have music from rapper/producer and cousin of Karl Malone – Kenan Bell and music from his project Good News: The Mix-Tape with remixes of songs by artists as wide-ranging as Pink Floyd, Lily Allen, Gang Gang Dance, Jose Gonzalez, Peter, Bjorn & John, Duran Duran and Neil Diamond. We also have music from the band Deer Tick that blew away Rolling Stone magazine with their performance at last month’s SXSW. The final track for this week’s AYFT comes from a project from Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and Wes Miles of Ra Ra Ri called Discovery. Take a listen below and let us know what you think by voting in the “Are You Feeling This” listener poll.
