RADIO MILWAUKEE SUMMER PASSPORT

Week two! This is a typical summer week in Milwaukee, full of opportunities to get out among your neighbors. A little rain doesn’t stop us.

Tuesday we will be back at Chill on the Hill for Sharking Hour and Aimless Blades. Stellar volunteers Rachel and Ryan will be there to give you your stamp and Passport from 6-9pm.

Wednesday gives you a couple options. Check out Old Mil at River Rhythms at Pere Marquette Park from 6:30-9pm. And Starlight Mints perform at Turner Ballroom right around the corner. The show begins at 8pm with the Evangelicals.

Thursday marks the return of Alterra at the Lake’s Musica del Lago. Spanglish Band performs at 7pm. Jazz in the Park in Cathedral Square could also be your destination as Bonerama gets started at 6:30pm.

Friday is the first day of Pridefest, one of Milwaukee’s most eclectic festivals. Volunteer leaders Rachel, Ryan, and Samantha will be hanging out at our booth until 10pm.

Oh, we are not done yet…

Saturday brings the 8th annual That’s My Dad celebration of fathers. The Milwaukee Fatherhood Collaborative and Public Allies team up for a day of food, music, and activities, all for free, from 11am-5pm.

And Sunday is Locust St Festival. Yes, the beer run returns at 11:30am sharp. With five stages of Milwaukee music, numerous vendors, plenty of food, and a great crowd, this is definitely a stand out event in Milwaukee.

Have fun!!
